FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Dozens of passengers are stuck on the Kabul-Ghor highway closed by heavy snowfall, local officials said on Monday.
Ziaul Haq Jundullah, a senior official of the Land Transport Authority confirmed the Kabul-Ghor highway had been blocked as a result of snowfall.
Amid efforts to reopen the route for traffic, he said: “We have informed all transport companies in Kabul and Ghor to prevent buses from plying through the Bakak Pass until the route is reopened for traffic. In cooperation with the Department of Public Works, we are trying to reopen the highway.”
