MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least five people have been injured in a hand grenade explosion in the capital of northern Balkh province on Wednesday, an official said.
Police spokesman Mohammad Asif Waziri told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place in Sayedabad area of 7th police district where unknown gunmen put hand grenades on Tuesday evening.
Five people were injured in the evening explosion, he said, adding that the injured evacuated to the hospital and they were in stable condition.
