KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan has transformed into an attractive destination for local and foreign investors, says the acting minister of commerce and industry.
Speaking to the head of a Russian firm, Minister Nooruddin Azizi said the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was taking effective steps to create more facilities for investors.
A statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry quoted Azizi affirmed the IEA commitment to protecting the lives and property of investors in Afghanistan.
The Russian entrepreneur said Afghan businessmen living in his country and investors from regional states were interested in investing in Afghanistan.
