KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) has announced the transfer of 400,000 tons of coal from Samangan province to Kabul for distribution purpose in 32 areas.
The MoMP tweeted the transfer of 400,000 tons of coal, which was previously provided to eight companies, was carried out from Dara-i-Sauf of Samangan to Deh Aabz district of Kabul.
According to the source, the coal distribution process has begun from Deh Sabz district to 32 areas of the capital Kabul.
The price of one ton coal is set at 9,000 afghanis by the Kabul Municipality, Ministry of Finance and MoMP.
