KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has announced to support 111,000 families with cash assistance this year in Afghanistan.
UNICEF tweeted: “In Afghanistan, millions of people are unable to meet the basic needs of their families. Winter will only make things worse.”
It has also emphasized that cash assistance was one of the best ways to support the needy Afghans.
“This winter, UNICEF aims to support 111,000 families with cash assistance,” the organization added.
