PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The UN International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) will distribute stationary and other education related materials to 16,000 children in central Logar province, an official said on Thursday.
Education Department Spokesperson Shahpour Arab told Pajhwok Afghan News these times would be distributed to boys and girls students under class sixth in soon.
These items included — notebook, bag, pen, pencil, robber, marker and etc, he added.
Syed Jalal, one of the teachers from Pul-i-Alam told Pajhwok Afghan News with the distribution of these items girls and boys under class six would be encouraged to their studies.
He stressed the education department should distributed these items among students as soon as possible.
It is worth mentioning that 500 community classes had been established by the UNICEF in Mohammad Agha, Charkh, Khoshi and Kharwar districts where as many as 20,000 boys and girls are provided with education.
