MAIMANA (Pajhwok): At least 19 people have been killed and injured in separate traffic accidents on No. 1 Road in the Khawja Sabz Posh district of northwestern Faryab province, an official said on Sunday.
Traffic Department Director Da Mullah Najibullah told Pajhwok Afghan News four people were killed and 13 others injured when two Sarach type vehicles collided in the Khawaja Qeshri point on Sunday evening.
He said the injured persons were shifted to the hospital by security personnel.
Dr. Abdul Hadi, Emergency Section head of the hospital, said four bodies and 13 injured had been shifted to the hospital, the health condition of 3 persons is not stable, he added.
Separately, two cyclists were wounded when a corolla type vehicle hit them.
