Yet another $40m humanitarian cash aid arrives in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) says yet another cash package of $40 million on Tuesday arrived in Kabul as part of the global fraternity’s continued humanitarian assistance.

The central bank tweeted that sending humanitarian aid through the banking sector ensures transparency and facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people in need.

According to a Pajhwok report, Afghanistan has received over $1.5 billion in humanitarian aid from the international community during the past 12 months.

Economic experts say the international humanitarian aid has been effective in mitigating problems and has a positive impact on people’s lives, otherwise Afghanistan would have faced many challenges economically.
