KABUL (Pajhwok): The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has denounced Tuesday’s bomb attack on a bus carrying a petroleum firm’s staff in northern Balkh province.
The bombing in Mazar-i-Sharif resulted in the death of the petroleum company’s workers. Several civilians were among the wounded.
The Muslim bloc underlined the need to hold the perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of such reprehensible acts of terrorism accountable.
In a statement, the OIC General Secretariat said eradicating terrorism from Afghanistan was an essential prerequisite for political stability in the country.
