KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) or central bank officials and UN special representative Roza Otunbayeva have discussed poverty alleviation, humanitarian aid, foreign investments, banking relations and other issues, the bank said on Thursday.
They conferred on Afghanistan's currency reserves, microcredit and financial services in Afghanistan. The statement said DAB acting chairman Abdul Qahir Haji Idris met with UNAMA head Roza Otunbayeva and discussed with her the mentioned issues.
Haji Idris said DAB desired cordial relations with all national and international institutions in the light of international principles and regulations and would not hesitate from any kind of cooperation . . .
