Missing 4-year-old girl found murdered in Paktika

SHARANA (Pajhwok): A missing four-year-old girl was found murdered and buried in soil in Urgun district of southeastern Paktika province on Saturday.

Maulvi Asadullah, the district crime branch police chief, told Pajhwok the girl had gone missing from her home four days ago. She had been stabbed to death and her body buried under soil in Zama area between Urgun and Sarobi districts.

He said the girl’s family informed the police who launched a joint search with the family to find her. They found the body of the girl in Zama area and later she was laid to rest.

Jan Mohammad, the father of the slain girl, said they had no enmity with anyone and they had no idea who and why Amina was kidnapped and then brutally killed.

The police official said the incident was being investigated and the perpetrators would be arrested soon.
