KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Finance Minister Hidayatullah Badri has asked the United Nations to carry out humanitarian aid activities in coordination with government departments and to assist the country’s development sector.
The Ministry of Finance wrote on its Twitter page that Mullah Hidayatullah Badri met with United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) head Roza Otunbayeva.
Badri thanked Otunbaeva for the world body’s humanitarian aid and urged coordination of the aid with government agencies. He also requested help in the development areas.
