KABUL/PARAKH (Pajhwok): Security forces have detained ten people over drug smuggling and selling charges in Kabul and elsewhere seized 769 kilograms of marijuana seeds in central Panjshir province.
MawlawiNasrullahMalikzada, the head of Information and Culture department of Panjshir province, told Pajhwok Afghan News counternarcotics forces recovered 769 kilograms of marijuana seeds from a small truck in the provincial capital, Parakh, and arrested its driver.
In Kabul, police said security forces during separate incidents arrested ten persons in connection with drugs trafficking and selling during the past week.
In a statement, Kabul police said all these persons were detained red handed with drugs like tablet K, hashish, alcoholic drinks, crystal meth, opium and three vehicles.
It said dossiers of the detainees had been completed and would be submitted to judicial authorities.
