KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Procurement Commission (NPC) has approved projects worth about 700 million afghanis in the infrastructure sector.
Deputy prime minister for economic affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar’s office tweeted that in the first meeting of NPC, projects worth about 700 million afghanis were approved after a thorough evaluation.
The projects included the construction of the road of Khair Khana Kotal, the completion of the remaining parts of the road from Mirwais Maidan to Company, the construction of the premises of Mehtarlam Baba substation of Laghman Electricity.
The construction of the cannal and purchase of construction materials to the schemes of Kabul municipality were also part of these projects, the source added.
The NPC held their first meeting today based on the decree of the supreme leader of “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan”.
