ICRC urges world to support Afghans

KABUL (Pajhwok): The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has said that child pneumonia and malnutrition cases were on the raise in Afghanistan as the winter sets across the country.

On its Twitter handle, ICRC wrote: “People in #Afghanistan are struggling as winter sets in and the economic crisis worsens. Pneumonia and malnutrition cases amongst children are on the rise and families are facing an impossible dilemma: eating or heating. The Int community must continue supporting #Afghans.”
