PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Five security personnel have been killed in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, officials say.
The fatalities resulted from separate attacks in Chaman and Kech districts on Saturday, official sources confirmed to Dawn.
A vehicle of the Frontier Corps Balochistan (South) came under attack in the Dannuk Gogdan area of Turbat in Kech district, the newspaper reported.
At least four members of the paramilitary force were killed as they engaged the unknown assailants. The bodies were evacuated to the Turbat district hospital.
Separate attack, a Levies soldier was gunned down by unidentified armed motorcyclists in Chaman district, police said.
