MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A young man was shot dead in the capital of Faryab province last night with police blaming the murder on personal enmity.
Mufti Muhammad Ismail Furqani, crime branch police official, told Pajhwok Afghan News Habibullah, a resident of Afghan Kot Guzar area falling in the first district of Maimana city, was killed by Ahmad Wali, a resident of Dawlat Abad area, second district, at around 11:00pm last night.
He said the killer had escaped and police had launched a manhunt for him.
