FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The highways linking Ghor with Kabul and Herat and roads in nine districts of the western province have been closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall and storms.
Zia-ul-Haq Jandullah, a transport official, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The highways and roads in districts have been blocked by heavy snowfall and storms. We have informed all branches not to send even a single passenger to Ghor.”
Jandullah urged people to avoid traveling these routes until the weather improved.
