KABUL (Pajhwok): As parting of the recruitment process for the Under-19 cricket team, 107 players qualified out of 5,000 players for the next round of trials, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said on Tuesday.
On its Twitter handle the national cricket body said during the first half of December about 5,000 U-19 players completed their trials in the five zones of the country. On the bases of defined criteria, 107 best players were picked for the next round of trials, ACB said. ACB said that 30 players will be picked for the final trial and at the end 18 best players will be picket for the U-19 team.
However, some of those players who went through these trials on zonal level complained about the transparency of the process.
ACB said those who have complaints, can file their complaints through telephone number or send an email to ACB’s complaints department from Saturday to Wednesday.
