KABUL (Pajhwok): The ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) Supreme Leader Mawlavi Haibatullah Akhundzada has held consultation meeting with the ulema of seven provinces and stressed over addressing the problems faced by the people, an official said on Tuesday.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the government’s spokesman, tweeted the supreme leader held a meeting with ulema council heads, deputies and officials of Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Nimroz, Farah, Paktika and Paktia provinces.
The supreme leader told the participants of the meeting: “You know better that consultation has an important role in Islam, the messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to consult with his companions and by consulting, the unity and consensus among Muslim strengthened.”
“Many problems of people have been solved by the councils, and they should continue to pay attention to the solution of the people’s dilemmas and pay more attention to their responsibilities in this regard and the responsibilities of scholars do not end until the day of resurrection.”
“Today, with the help of Allah (SWT), an Islamic system is established, if the scholars do not fulfill their responsibility properly; their burden of responsibility before Allah will be very heavy,” he told the participants.
“The religious scholars have also provided important advice on establishing lasting relations between the Islamic Emirate and the people, solving people’s problems, bringing reforms in provincial institutions and further development,” Mujahid concluded.
