‘7 Daesh insurgents killed, as many arrested in Kabul operation’

KABUL (Pajhwok): Seven Daesh militants were killed and as many arrested during security forces operation in capital Kabul late on Wednesday, an official said.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson of the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA), on his twitter handle wrote: “Late in the day operation was carried out in the Qalacha and Shuhada Soaliheen areas of capital Kabul in which seven Daesh Khawarij were killed and seven others arrested.”

The residents of 8^th Police District in Kabul confirmed to Pajhwok that firing and blast happened on Wednesday evening.

Ehsanullah, the resident of 8^th Police District, said he heard explosions and firing late on Wednesday.

Mujahid also said that two more Daesh militants had been arrested in Nimroz province.
