PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Ex-president Hamid Karzai has asked Pakistan to eschew hurling threats and revisit its policy towards Afghanistan.
The current wave of insecurity” in Pakistan had been triggered its government’s policies, the former president explained.
Karzai’s remarks came a day after Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) warned it would not allow Afghanistan to shelter terrorists.
A Kabul-based private broadcaster quoted the then president as calling the Pakistanis neighbours and brothers of the Afghan people.
“But insecurity & the current situation in Pakistan are mostly due to policies of the Pakistani govt,” Karzai told TOLOnews.
