FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): The residents of Gulistan district in western Farah province have said that no telecommunication network was made functional in the district over the past 20 years.
Khan Mohammad Hilali, a local tribal elder, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “No telecommunication network has been functioning here and people travel to another district in order to establish contact with their relatives.”
He asked the government to resolve their problem. “Now that fighting had ended so the government should take step for establishing telecommunication facility in our district,” he urged.
