Qargha Dame maintenance, protection project launched

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Qargha Dam protection and maintenance project worth six million afghani has been launched, an official said on Thursday.

Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, acting minister of Energy and Water, on his twitter handle wrote: “The protection and maintenance project of Qargha Dam in the Paghman district of Kabul launched at the cost of six million afs.”

Kabul River Zone Head Eng. Habib Rahman Haqpal said the purpose of the project was protection and maintenance of the Qargha Dam.

He asked the company executing the project to ensure quality of work.
