CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The Salang highway that connects Kabul with northern provinces was closed for all kind of traffic due to heavy snowfall and storms on Wednesday.
Samiullah Walizada, the highway maintenance commander, said the highway was closed due to heavy snowfall today morning.
They highway was closed for safety reason and it would remain closed until cleared of snow.
