Ghor-Kabul Road reopens for traffic

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The Ghor-Kabul Road has been reopened for traffic on Thursday after two days of heavy snowfall, an official said.

Ghor Governor Spokesperson Mawlavi Abdul Wahid Hammas told Pajhwok Afghan News: “With the efforts of the Ghor Public Works Department, the Ghor-Kabul highway, which was closed yesterday afternoon due to snowfall and storms, has been reopened today --- Thursday.”

He said the transportation routes of the districts of this province are still blocked for people's movement and efforts are being made to open these routes and people can travel.

Local officials asked drivers and people to take care while moving from one place to another so they won’t face any trouble.
