MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Six districts in northern Faryab province have been cut off with Maimana, the provincial capital, due to heavy snowfall, an official said on Saturday.
Information and Cultural Affairs Director Mawlavi Shamsullah Mohammadi said roads leading to Balcharagh, Gerizwan, Lolash, Pashtonkot, Khaibarand Bandar districts had been closed due to heavy snowfall.
He said there were no reports of human and financial losses from the above mentioned district over the past three days.
The residents of Faryab said due to heavy snowfall and unprecedented cold they were in deep trouble because people have no material to heat up their homes . . .
