KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirteen Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) employees have been sent to Turkmenistan for receiving a technical training.
The ARA in a statement said: “About 13 employees of the railway authority have traveled to Turkmenistan through Tor Ghundi port for receiving a short-term training course.”
The 13 employees would undergo a three-month-long training and ARA would take advantage of their experience and skills after they return to the country.
ARA is striving to get more scholarships for its workers from neighboring countries to eventually run all railway affairs by Afghan personnel.
