ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A 16-year-old girl has committed suicide while three people have been killed in traffic accidents in southwestern Nimroz province, sources said on Friday.
A well-placed source told Pajhwok Afghan News that a 16-year-old girls committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan. Her name was Ferishta and was the student of class nine.
According to the deceased family sources she committed suicide when her brother stopped her from going to English Language tuition.
She started the tuition after ban on girls’ school and other restrictions.
Separately, one person was killed in a traffic accident on Kang-Zaranj Road, Traffic Department Director Mawlavi Samiullah Jubair said.
Two people had been killed as a result of fire in a 404 type passenger bus in Zaranj City, Fire Department Director Hafiz Abdul Hameed Zaranji said.
