KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan MMA fighter Abdul Karim Badakhshi has defeated his Azerbaijani opponent Omar Razayov in an overnight bout.
Badakhshi wrote on his Facebook page: “I would like to thank you all for praying for me and congratulate all countrymen.”
Azadi Radio reported Badakhshi beat his Azerbaijani rival on Monday night in a match at the ACA event.
The competition features 48 MMA fighters from Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kirghizstan.
