Jawzjan: Missing child’s body found after 22 days

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Security forces have found the body of a child who drowned in the Pul-i-Khorasan River three weeks ago in northern Jawzjan province.

Police spokesman Abdul Sattar Halimi identified the boy as Mohibullah, son of Mohammad. The boy had gone missing 22 days ago from Mohajireen camp area and drowned in the Khorasan River in Shiberghan.

He said the body of the child was eventually found by security forces on Friday evening and handed over to his family.
