KABUL (Pajhwok): The Russian ambassador to Afghanistan sees room for cooperation between Moscow Kabul in diverse fields.
Dmitry Zhirnov, however, raised the question as to what priorities of the Afghan government and businesspeople were.
“What are the authorities and Afghan businesses ready to invest in in the first place?” the diplomat asked during an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
Cooperation between the two sides should be mutually beneficial, and joint projects must be gainful for both, the ambassador stressed.
Zhirnov added Russian businesses were still assessing the financial norms that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were introducing.
