Media best tool to prevent vices, promote virtue

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The Vice and Virtue Department director for western Herat province says media is the best tool to prevent vices and promote virtue and people should cooperate in this regard.

Director of Vice and Virtue Sheikh Aziz Rahman Al-Muhajir made the remarks during a meeting with director of information and culture Maulana Naeemul Haq Haqqani, the latter’s office said in a statement.

The statement from Haqqani’s office quoted Al-Muhajir as saying that most of vices had been prevented in the province and people had active cooperation in this regard.

Haqqani called for elimination of negativity through good deeds. Haqqani assured Al-Muhajir of his department’s continued and all-out cooperation with the Vice and Virtue Department.
