Fresh $40m cash aid reaches Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) announced on Tuesday the arrival of a fresh cash package of $40 million in Kabul as a part of global humanitarian assistance.

The central bank tweeted: “The $40 million aid package landed in a commercial bank in Kabul today.”

The DAB leadership welcomed the global humanitarian aid to the country, hoping it would be spent through the banking sector.
