ATLANTA (Pajhwok): A US delegation, headed by Coordinator for Counterterrorism Christopher Landberg, is due in Pakistan today (Sunday) for talks on counter-terrorism and security issues.
The State Department said on Saturday the delegation would discuss anti-terrorism cooperation and other security issues with Pakistani officials.
Meanwhile, Pakistani media outlets also reported the US and Pakistan would hold a comprehensive dialogue on counterterrorism to carve out a policy-oriented cooperation strategy and increase coordinated efforts against the menace.
Washington and Islamabad intend to redouble their efforts against the terror threat at a time of increasing militant attacks in Pakistan.
