KABUL (Pajhwok): The customs revenue has reached 11.33 billion afghanis over the last 11 months, the Ministry of Finance said on Thursday
The 11-month revenue collected showed a spike of 2.1 billion afghanis, compared to corresponding period of the previous year, a statement from MoF said.
The ministry linked the increase to better management, clear financial policies, staff commitment, and professionalism, as well as other positive steps.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Finance said the target for customs revenue was set 105 billion afghanis for the current fiscal year and the goal had already been achieved.
