KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested female member of a group of robbers in limits 10th police district of Kabul.
In its twitter handle, the police headquarters, said the arrested woman had been involved in robberies with other thieves who were held earlier.
Maulvi Abdul Rahim Ajmal, police official in 10th police district, said: “A woman who was a key member of a six-member gang of robbers arrested on Thursday. We have detained the other five members of the group a few days ago.”
“The woman’s job was to collect information prior to the robbery from people’s houses,” Ajmal added.
The source also shared voice of the detained woman, in which she says: “I was also arrested yesterday while other members of the group had been arrested earlier. My job was to knock at the doors of people under the pretext of finding a house for rent and making it possible for other group members to enter the house and conduct robbery.”
Security forces also arrested another person on charges of stealing mobile phones, the source informed.
Ajmal said both the detainees had been introduced to judicial organs.
