KABUL (Pajhwok): Iran has denounced the bomb attack on an award-giving ceremony in the capital of northern Balkh region.
At least three people were killed and 30 others injured, including journalists in Saturday’s blast in Mazar-i-Sharif, local sources said.
A spokesman for the foreign ministry in Tehran slammed the explosion at the gathering of journalists as a cowardly terrorist attack.
In a statement, he voiced deep shock over the heinous act that caused casualties to several journalists and cultural activists. He extended condolences to the victims’ families and the Afghan journalist community.
