KABUL (Pajhwok): A man was arrested with six magnetic bombs and two pistols in capital Kabul and 18 people were arrested for gambling in northern Balkh province, an official said on Monday.
Ministry of Defense (MoD) spokesman Inayatullah Khwarzmi tweeted that the 313 Central Corps forces of the ministry arrested a person with six magnetic bombs and two pistols in the Dehmazang area of the third security zone of Kabul and was handed over to relevant organs after investigation.
Separately, security forces
arrested 18 people in the fifth security zone of Mazar-i-Sharif city, the capital of northern Balkh province on the charge of gambling last night.
According to information of the provincial police headquarters, some cash and 25 mobile phones were recovered from the detainees.
