ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Maulvi Abdul Haq Hammad, media-monitoring director at the Ministry of Information and Culture, wants Islamic Emirate officials to pay attention to their statements.
Hammad tweeted that the members of the caretaker government and their supporters should pay attention to their statements (what they say, what they write) regarding the defence of the system.
He wrote they should avoid making statements that were against Islamic teachings.
Hammad asked the officials not to say anything that fuelled people’s anger and hurt the mujahideen’s feelings. He also urged the avoidance of utterances harming the government’s foreign policy and relations with foreign countries.
Hammad’s remarks come amid criticism of the ministers of higher education and public health on social media over their recent statements.
Public Health Minister Qalandar Ebad, during a trip to Pakistan, talked to his hosts in Urdu, with Pakistan flags visible in both his sides.
Similarly, Higher Education Minister Nida Mohammad Nadeem told a gathering in Kandahar that the individuals who criticized the government should be killed.
