Ghor: 6 of a family killed in hand grenade blast

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Six members of a family have been killed as a result of a grenade explosion in western Ghor province, an official said on Monday.

Deputy police chief Mullah Mustafa Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The hand grenade went off inside a house in Ghorqand village, killing three girls, two boys and a woman.”

He said the the hand grenade went off as a child played with it. The family also suffered financial losses as a result of the blast, he added.
