KABUL (Pajhwok): About 3,200 people have suffered causalities due to natural disasters and nearly 33,000 houses completely or partially destroyed across country this year, the State Ministry for Natural Disaster Management said on Tuesday.
Mullah Mohammad Abbas Akhund, Acting Minister of Natural Disaster Management, said in a video published that 1,102 people have died and 2,159 others injured as a result of natural disasters this year.
According to him, 9,808 houses have been destroyed completely, 2,3140 others partially damaged, 80,000 livestock were lost and about 74,000 acres of agricultural land were destroyed . . .
