KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 3000 people have been arrested in connection with 2,629 different criminal incidents in Kabul during the past one year, police said on Wednesday.
Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran today briefed journalists about security forces’ achievements in preventing crimes, terrorism, smuggling and other illegal activities during the past one year.
He added a total of 2,629 different criminal incidents took place last year and 2,973 people were arrested in connection with them.
He said 1,920 incidents included suicides, extortion, stealing cars and motorcycles, sexual harassment, drug trafficking, fraud, bribery, personal enmities and 1,836 . . .
