KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): The Kandahar-Herat Highway which was blocked in the Kampmanda area of Zherai district due to flash floods had been reopened, an official said on Thursday.
Earlier passengers said the road was blocked by flash floods and several vehicles had to wait for the reopening on both sides.
Syed Rasoul, one of the passengers traveling on the highway, said large vehicles managed to the flood water while small vehicle were blocked.
“Since afternoon we are waiting for the way to be reopened, the flood is very high and even some large vehicles were unable to cross,” he added . . .
