Weapons cache belonging to Daesh seized in Jawzjan

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Police have detected and seized a weapons cache belonging to Daesh group in the capital of northern Jawzjan province.

Acting police chief Qari Shah Mohammad Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the weapons were seized in coordination with the provincial intelligence department during a series of special operations.

He added the cache contained two magnetic bombs, a suicide vest, three hand grenades, six electrical capsules, a camera, an electrical controller, a remote control, a pressure device, three handguns, fuses, six switches and a lighter.

The ammunition pile was found in a house in Sakhi Abad village of Shiberghan city.
