Af-Pak T20 series: Outstanding players to get lapis lazuli wards

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced the best players of the T20 series against Pakistan will be granted lapis lazuli-made awards.

In a statement, ACB said on Sunday the awards for the best players of the ongoing T20 international matches between Afghanistan and Pakistan, were made of Afghan lapis lazuli.

It added the unique awards would be given to outstanding cricketers as a token of the rich cultural heritage of Afghanistan and in acknowledgement of the talent and commitment of players.

Lapis lazuli is a precious stone, which considered as a sign of strength, struggle and wisdom.

Afghanistan have defeated Pakistan in 1^st T20 international of the 3-match series. The second game is being played in Sharjah today *Sunday).
