Afghanistan, Pakistan meet in last game of T20 series

KABUL (Pajhwok): Having already clinched the series, Afghanistan are set to take on Pakistan in the third T20 game in Sharjah today (Monday).

The match will start 8:30pm (Afghanistan time). Last night, Afghanistan set another enviable record by clinching the T20I series against Pakistan.

Led by ace leggie Rashid Khan, Afghanistan will likely go flat-out in the last match today to complete a clean sweep.

In post-match remarks, Rashid said: “It’s a great honor to lead this wonderful team. Great effort with the ball, and then we took it deep and finished it … We have players to finish it like Nabi and Najib.”
