Explosion rocks Khairkhana area of Kabul, no casualties

KABUL (Pajhwok): A hand grenade explosion has rocked the Khairkhana area of Kabul, causing no casualties, an official said on Monday.

Police spokesman Khalid Zadran tweeted that the explosion took place late on Sunday in limits of the 11^th police district of the capital.

He wrote: “Unidentified men threw the hand grenade onto the road but the ensuing blast caused no casualties.”

He added an investigation into the incident was underway.
