KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has vehemently condemned an Israeli police assault against Palestinian worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
About 100 innocent Palestinian worshipers were injured and 400 others arrested in the overnight raid by Israeli forces, say media reports.
In a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack as an act against human rights and urged the international community to prevent such actions.
The ministry said such acts by Israeli forces against Palestinians and the desecration of holy places were clearly against International, Islamic and humanitarian laws, sparking anger among Muslims.
