BAMYAN (Pajhwok): A futsal tournament titled ‘Ramazan Cup’ and featuring 28 teams has begun in central Bamyan province, an official said on Saturday.
Mohammad Azim Saadat, director of Bamyan Football Federation, told Pajhwok Afghan News the tournament commenced on Friday evening and would continue for 18 days.
He said 28 teams from Bamyan and Daikundi provinces were partaking in the Ramazan Cup.
He said the purpose of the tournament was to promote futsal game and identify best teams and athletes.
